A Borosilicate(commonly known as "Pyrex") Glass Print Plate custom cut to fit our MK2B Heated Bed Kit or any other 8" sized bed platform. The combination of a boro glass bed plate atop the leading heated bed PCB solution forms the current gold standard in 3D print bed surfaces.
Crank the bed temperature up to around 100C and try and not smile as your ABS print first layers go down like butter on the super flat surface and stay down due to the low thermal expansion of the boro glass plate. For PLA you will be looking at around 60C and make sure the boro glass is spotless with a good go of Isopropyl alcohol.

| Key Benefits | Being lab grade borosilicate glass the 3.0mm glass plate provides a tough, super flat, chemical and heat resistant build surface which you may print directly onto, cover with some of our Kapton Tape or maybe even try one of the many "glue" recipes going around. Typically the glass plate is secured with 4 to 6 mini "bull dog" clips(not included) to the underlying heated bed PCB. The little clips hold the glass plate surprisingly well and allow for easily swapping out the glass plates between prints. | Note | Glass in general is tricky to post and has proven lately to not play well with others so we have modified our general policy on combined postage and are unable to offer combined postage for glass products with other NON glass products. On the other hand if your glass arrives damaged we will keep sending until you receive a good piece. Even If you think your glass plate is clean... clean it again! Always adjust your Z height with your heated bed and hotend at printing temperature |
